Setting permissions

I have this error working with asp "Operation must use an
updateable query". I have been trying to change the
permissions for the "Internet Guest Account" but I'm yet
to figure it out. I have tried going to My Computer and
Computer Management to do it but does not seem to offer
intuitive menu options to help me in the process. I also
tried going to "User Accounts" through control panel but
that does not help either. Moreover, my attempt to change
the permissions on the folder that contains the (.mdb)
file on Windows explorer did not yield any different
results. Again the security tab could not be found. I use
the "Sharing and Security" option but no luck. As for
the "Temp Folder" in Windows, there is no security tab.
I read somewhere that to work around the absence of
the "security tab" one needs to disable Simplified
Sharing. If you could please share with me the process
of giving write permission to Unanimous user for my .asp
pages. And also how to get around not finding the
security tab on the properties of the Temp folder and
change its permission as well. I'm using a XP pro and the
account I'm using has Administrator rights. I'm sure that
my partition is NTFS. I would really appreciate your
help in this issue. It's been a while since I have been
trying to solve the problem. And it's holding back the
project. I cannot test the database functionalities of
the site I'm building.

Thanks a lot in advance
