If someone will hijack your PC and use it to attack other systems you will
have nothing but trouble. Why risk it?

Beside this patch takes less then 1MB of your hard disk. I don't think you
are that low on your HDD. If you need to apply more then one patch (even
service pack) then I think it is about time you do it. You can free some
space by e.g. deleting temporary internet files etc...
