Repair from Bootup CD denied-password problem

I had a similar problem with my laptop I had to take it
apart and remove this little battery inside and leave it
out for about 10 minutes (I also removed the main
battery). When I put it all back together (only one
leftover screw!!) and booted up, no more password prompt.
