Ladies and Gentlemen if you could help it would be much
appreciated. Thank you.
I purchased a used laptop that has XP Pro (NEC Versa SX)
I entered the set up window at boot up and clicked on
default settings. Now when I start up it asks me for a
password (black screen with 'Enter CURRENT password'
prompt)I had set up user passwords for two people and
neither password works.
Any help to get around that prompt would be gratefully
appreciated. I'm just "po' white trash"(now) that hasn't
had a real job in over two years and cannot afford to take
the dang thing in for service.
