Hi Ralph,
You can't delete built-in accounts and Administrator account is not an
exception.
At the login screen (Welcome Screen?) click Ctrl + Alt + Del quickly twice.
You should now be able to type "Administrator" under Username box and enter
password for Administrator account. You can try with blank password or any
other if you have set it.
Then go to User Accounts in Control Panel make your changes... (e.g. create
new account).
