Hi Tim,

do you get a window asking you to enter username and password or you get
automatically access denied?

If you get asked for username and password then try to enter them like this:

Username: <PC1>\<Username1>
Password: <password1>

PC1 = WindowsXP in question
Username1 = e.g. administrator on WindowsXP in question
password1 = password for Username1

How about accessing files and folder from WinXP PC in question on other
three PCs? How about if you use IPs instead of names e.g.
\\192.168.1.10\<sharename> ... where 192.168.1.10 is IP of one of your
PCs...
