have you tested your NIC(network interface card)that
connects you computer to the DSL Modem. A malfunctioning
card could be "jabbering", sending irrelivent data to the
DSL modem. is your computer the only one connected to DSL
modem, if not is someone else on the network got a peice
of software running that uses the connection. if you have
more than 1 user on you machine look to see if under the
user logon it has "* programs running" (where * is a
number). A few thing to think about, hope this helps.
