already done that with no sucess. Cant try last known
config as the errors on start up will not allow this also
have done a repair on drive as this is what i have done
to get rid of the errors in the first place i have also
put the hdd into another machine running winxp to see if
would rebuild the ntfs partion if there were any errors
this also has not helped thinking maybe only way is to
load a fresh install onto machine as the data is very
valuable. Do you know how to view the event logs under
the recovery menu????
