I have a similar problem in that after reinstalling my system I can no
longer access my entire Owner directory.
How did you redirect your "My Documents"?

When I first installed XP Pro (C drive), I redirected "My
Documents" to a folder on a bigger hard drive (D drive)
because of the 25Gigs it contained. Then to make it safe
against intrusions from anyone on my home LAN, I went in
the properties of the folder and selected "Make this
folder confidential" (my XP is in french so the
translation might not be exact). But since XP crashed for
the last 3 days, I decided to format the C drive in NTFS
and reinstall XP but now I can't access the folder "My
Documents" on the D drive and all of its 25Gigs. I used
the same CD, same key number, same user name and I still
can't get it to work.
I presume it generated a code or something like that. Is
there any chance I could recover my files?
Merci à vous! Thanks to you!
