Elijah: I'm not sure why your company built a business network on XP home
rather than Pro. XP home is designed for home users who are primarily used
to the Win9x platform and thus many security features are designed to be
hidden/transparent so that Win9x users don't have to learn complex new
concepts. I would recommend upgrading to Pro to get a more business-oriented
product not to mention additional security features missing in XP Home.

Tom: The solution suggested would not really help you for remote sharing.
The "Simple File Sharing" is a metaphor designed for XP Home that simplifies
sharing for Win9x users. That's why it gives you these limited options and
doesn't allow access to the Security or Sharing tabs. The solution you've
been given -- if it works -- may show you the security tabs so you'd be able
to assign rights to specific user accounts but, ultimately, these will be
pointless for remote access because all remote authentications are hardcoded
to come in as Guest, no matter what user credentials you use. They will only
work for local users.

Thank you
