Two possibly related problems:
(1) Trying to update McAfee VirusScan Home Edition Version
7.02.6000, instant updater doesn't work, so I contacted
McAfee tech support who provided me with the EXE update
file (4268xdat.exe). When I click on the EXE file, the
error message "UNABLE TO BACKUP EXISTING FILE. NOT ENOUGH
RIGHTS" appears, and the update fails.
(2) Trying to create a new genealogical database with the
program RootsMagic. I get error message "You do not have
permission to save in this directory. See the
administrator to obtain permission". An alternative is
offered: "save the new file in the My Documents folder".
When I say YES to the alternative choice, the program
blows up and shuts down.
I am logged in as ADMIN on my own home computer when the
above occurs. I checked permissions, and I've got them all.
HELP!!!!!!
