My computer recently crashed and I was told the only way
to save it is to reformat the hard drive. Before I do
this, I need to recover some data from individual users'
Documents and Settings folders. I've hooked up the hard
drive to another computer and I can explore the hard drive
in windows just fine (as F:\) but I cannot get access to
the individual users' Docs folders. Is there any way I
can change the user sharing properties on a hard drive on
which which I cannot log onto windows? I'd really
appreciate some help here.

Thanks,
Jon
