The Read Only attribute is new in service pack 1
apparently. I found a little note about in in KB article
328065. Read Only is now the default permission for all
folders that are shared on a network. Its part of
the "security enhancements" of SP1!
Unfortunately, I cannot find a means of changing the
attribute back to normal, which is messing up all by file
backups.
If anyone knows how to override or get arond this please
let me know.
Thanks
