NoLMHash resets itself

I am trying to implement the registry change to prevent
LM hashes from being stored on the Windows XP Pro
machine. I set the registry setting to 1 for this and it
takes, but when I reboot or just log off and back on the
registry setting gets set back to 0.

Any ideas on why this resets itself?

TIA
