We force users to change their password every 90 days with
history and complexity enabled. On the Windows 2000 Pro
workstations, they get the notice that the password will
expire in 14 days and asks if they want to change it now.
This of course occurs at each login till it expires
forcing the change. On the XP workstations, the only way
to tell it has expired by attempting to open Outlook XP
which prompts you to change the pwd. I want my XP
workstations to behave the same as the 2K Pro ones with
regard to the passwords. Any suggestions? I would try
SP1 for XP, but they breaks more a critical piece of
software we run. Thanks, for any assistance.
