Hi, I have been trying this question for ages and am
starting to wonder if there is nothing I can do.
When _try_ to log on (XP Home) the desktop background
flashes and then you are automatically logged off
IMMEDIATLEY. This happens with all accounts, even
administrators in safe mode. I have tried everything
except re-installing :( yuk.
Can anyone tell me where they hide the XP registry and how
I can access it remotely. Note: I can access my files
through a smb share as well as mounting my drive under
linux. If i can get the 'registry file' is there a program
which can interpret that file so i can see if there is
anyting _bad_ that runs at startup?
Thanks alot fellas, ANY help is greatly appreciated, even
if its jsut "Sorry there is nothing you can do".
Cheers
Dave
