Hello

It is Norton Antivirus related.
It means that Norton Antivirus has detected what could potentially be a
malicious script trying to execute itself on your PC. You should keep this
option on but you can change the option to let you chose to allow script
execution if you chose so. When you are on known reputable sites looking
for updates and so on you can tell the program to ignore the script and
continue.

Open your Norton Antivirus, click Options. There you will see an entry for
"Script Blocking", click on it, click "Enable Script Blocking", and click
"Ask me what to do". You probably have "Stop all suspicious..." checked and
that's why you can't get past scripts when you browse. As for a newsgroup
look at the groups available on your newsgroup server subscription list, you
should see a Symantec server entry, there are about 300 groups on the
server, take your pick.
