I have the recovery console installed "just in case"
Yesterday I needed to use it. My registry somehow got
jacked and I attempted to log to the console to fix it and
I get the stupid "invalid password" error. I NEVER SET A
PASSWORD!!!
The only thing I found in the KB that was anywhere near
helpful simply said to re-install Windows. That is just
completely unacceptable, especially when this installation
is OEM. I don't have the disk.
PLEASE NOTE: Computer will NOT boot, at all.
How in the world do I get around this (without having to
lose everything)? Thanks in advance
