This can be caused by an incorrect BOOT.INI file. In particular, having
multiple [Operating Systems] sections. BOOT.INI is a hidden file in the
root directory of the C: drive. It can be accessed via Notepad, or by
going to Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery and clicking
the Edit button.
