Well, notice the Jerald's tip does not actually recommend doing this,
only that if one is short of resources it can be done.
If one does that one looses the benefits of quicker desktop delivery
on boot and common application startup, but one saves some CPU
and disk space.
Simply deleting the content is not going to gain anything.
