What version of PM are you running ?

The HELP file says that a complete list of error codes is on the PQ site,
and it is:

Hi,
i am having a problem with converting the file system from FAT To NTFS, i
have checked all the ways that i could think could do this job these include
using of third party disk managament softares. Basically i am using windows
xp and i have 20 gig of hdd. and i have four partitions all of round about
4, gegs. two of them are using FAT File system and the other two are using
ext2fs file system and i have installed windows xp on the first partition
and Linux on the third partition . the problem with me is that i did not
converted the filesystem of my partition to ntfs during the windows xp
installation. and now i want to convert it to ntfs from fat32 file system.
but i am unable to covert it when i convert it using the dos command for
file system convert it goes well but in the end it says that unable to
notify other services and the result is that that parition is un accessible
and all the data on it is lost all i have to do to acces it is to format it
wiht FAT 32 and then acces it .also when i format it with NTFS form the
right click format caommand in windows xp it says windows was unable to
format the drive. and when i use the Power Quest Partition Magic it gives me
an error no 514 and i dont know what that means i have also checked all the
menuals and the help files and the help system of Partition magic to find
what this error means but i could not find what that error no means.

so if anyone of u know how to solve this problem and take me out of it i
would be very thankful to u

also one question from the readers that where could i find news gruoups like
msnews.microsoft.com which i could view in Outlook Express. i would be very
thankful to u if u tell me some other newsgroups that i could view in
outlook express or tell me some link where i could find these newsgroups,
Preferably about Linux
