Recently I have set up a Samba LINUX 8.0 Red Hat server
and repointed the "My Documents" folder, located on a
Windows XP Pro desktop system SR1a patched, to it. Each
night I use a product called Unison to make copies of any
changed files to another machine. After running this
setup for one night I find that all my file and folder
icons, physically located on this LINUX network drive,
now have a small box containing two blue arrows in a
cycle (non animated) in the lower left hand corner, when
viewed on the XP desktop.
What is the significance of this icon change?
Obviously it is informational, but I have never seen it
before.
No other adverse effect have been seen.
If copied to a local drive the icon will lose the arrows.
