Ponder this..I am running xp on my machine with an
external DSL modem..I have the built in firewall enabled.
I just purchased Zone Alarm Pro 3.7 and am having a hard
time configuring it due to all my programs that require
internet access like windows update,messenger,Quicken
etc etc etc..My internet connection changes each time I
connect so exactly how much protection does the built in
firewall give me ?? Zone alarm is constantly telling me
every few minutes that my machine is blocking port scans
and various other(to use a word) attacks..Why do I not
have this with the built in firewall?? or is one
cancelling out the other ??? and lastly can I customize
the built in firewall to give more protection ??...As
always Thanks and Cheers to all !!...........Drew
