XP Does Not Seem To Allow New Program Installations

Did you try the rollback feature in recovery program? Or
try this. At the welcome screen press ctrl-alt-delete
twice. this will enable to logon as administrator with
your sign in name and password. Hopefully you made
recovery cd's before you did anything with the pc. Any
corrupted files can be recovered with the cd's.
