All.

I hope that you may be able to offer advice onthe
following problem.

A user with an IBM Thinkpad T21 running Windows 2000
Professional has just upgraded to Windows XP Professional.
Now neither the user nor I as administrator can log in to
the computer locally or the domain.

I believe that the domain problem is down to the
signorseal setting in the registry and this would be easy
enough to fix once logged in but......

Is there a workaround for this problem? ie. to reset the
local administrator password in the registry file without
having Windows available?

Thanks in advance.

Darren.
