If you determine your machine was penetrated by someone
and has a trojan implant (as compared to being infected by
a virus) then you may just as well format and install clean.
You can remove (what you are aware of) the trojan, but you
will be looking endlessly for more. You will need to run the
machine in quarantine and probe it internally and externally,
examining ports and processes, and in the end you just will
not ever be certain (although you might have high confidence).
