Is C formatted with NTFS ?
The checkbox with the read-only label on folders is not
the directory's read-only attribute. Yeah - go figure.
Rather, it is a switch used to set or unset the attribute on
the contained files. The attribute on directories can only
be seen and changed with the attrib command.
