Hello,
regarding your post, are you sure the file name you posted
isn't nvcpL (note the "L" not "I" as you stated)? If you
can duplicate the error message be sure your spelling was
correct as nvcpl.dll is an anti-virus dynamic link library
file (dll). If so, I'm wondering if the seller may have
improperly uninstalled any anti-virus software.
I believe nvcpl.dll is specific to Norton Systems works.
If the error message DOES actually say nvcpi.dll, then not
sure. I did an internet search as well as a Microsoft
Knowledge Base search and only came up with the anti-virus
file named nvcpl.dll.
You may also try starting in "Safe Mode" to determine if
the problem is a driver or such. On my Intel Based
computer with XP Pro, I press the "F5" key just after the
post test (or just keep pressing it until the "Safe Mode"
screen appears.
I hope this helps. I am not and do not claim to be a
computer pro, but instead, I just like to help others when
a problem occurs and these are some basics to try.
Good Luck,
Rob
