To make an account's My Documents folder appear in Windows Explorer,
add/edit a key in the DocFolderPaths branch like so:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DocFolderPaths]
"user"="C:\\Documents and Settings\\user\\My Documents"
An alternative to editing the registry is to "Move" your My Documents
folder from the desktop level in Windows Explorer. Windows will reset
DocFolderPaths when you move your My Documents folder. Simply move the
target to, say, the root of C: and then move it back again.
