My main XP Pro PC has no "admin rights" to other XP Pro PCs on my network.
Lgged in as administrator, I am running Shavlik's HFNetChkLT
(recommended off a Microsoft webpage) which checks local & networked PCs
for missing patches & updates. Access is denied to other XP Pro PCs with
the message "admin rights are required to scan...".
The remote PCs have exactly the same admin. login name & password as the
one I am working on. All the PCs are members of the same workgroup but
none are members of a domain.
I have tried to setup my main PC's admin user as a user on the other
PCs, but I can't find any way of admitting a remote user.
Any help, please?
