Hi Jupiter, I have been reading a lot of your past posts
and you seem extremely knowledgable with WinXP.

My system crashed and instead of figuring out what was
wrong, I just built a new system and loaded my old OS, Win
2K Pro. I took out my old hard drive (Win XP Home OS) and
hooked it up to my new computer through a USB 2.0 external
enclosure. I am now trying to access my old files on the
hard drive.

There were three users on the old computer. All files are
accessible from the two users that did not have full
administrative privileges. However, I cannot access my
files. The system won't ask me for a log-in name or
password to access it. Is there any way to access my files?

Thanks in advance!!!
Jim
