I have an anoying bug form "Brilliant Digital" does not
want to go. I got it from Kazaa. I have already tried
spyware, lavasoft and another freeware I found elsewhere.
I have rad articles and Norton Ssytem Ultilities does not
even percieve the anomaly.
About the anti-spy ware
1. All of them have detected the folder "brilliant" and
have deleted it.
2. But they cannot delete another folder named BDE that
has subfolders names bd3logon, movie, mskin,etc.none of
them erases it. Even to they claim "successfully deleted".
I have also tried to delete it manually:
1. Tried to change the "read-only" attribute
2. I unchecked and checked the simple file sharing
3. I already used a console using "del"
4. I used SHIFT+DEL to override the recycle bin.
5. I unistalled and deleted Kazaa and then tried to delete
the folder using the four previous methods again.
All I got in response, no matter what I do
is: "c://windows/BDE/b3logo in not accesible Acccess
denied"
All I know from the webpage of Brilliant digital is that
this spy software is potentially dangerous to my privacy
and that it usues a highly redundant technology. What can
I do?
