Windows Update automatically downloaded numerous updates
(more than 9) but could not install 810565, 328310,
810833, 810577, 329170 or 811630 to Windows XP Home.
VirusScan, all ad blocking software and popup preventers
were turned off. Only things running were dial up
connection and IE 6.0 SP1. Even tried installing each
individually, but without success.
Previous updates installed flawlessly.
