To do this, you must be running NTFS as your file system. If so, and you're
running XP Pro, in Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, View and
uncheck Use simple file sharing. Now when you go to Folder Properties,
you'll see a Security tab. Here you can set what users and groups have
access to that drive, file, folder. For XP Home, you must boot the
computer into Safe Mode and use the built-in Adminstrator account to see the
Security tab. Again, you must be runnning NTFS as your file system.
Otherwise, you'll have to use 3rd party software to accomplish this.
