I have a home network connecing a windows 2000 pc and a
PC with XP professional. I want to back up XP to a tape
drive on the Win2k machine. I cannot share the Windows &
Program Files Folders. When I look at thesharing tab for
these folders, all the check boxes are greyed out and at
the bottome of the window is "ALL THE OPTIONS ON THIS TAB
ARE DISABLED BECAUSE THE FOLDER IS USED BY THE OPERATING
SYSTEM".I also do not have the security/permission tab.
PCs at work running XP Pro. allow me to share out these
folders if I wish.
Any ideas anyone?
regards
Steve
