You need to enable XP's built in Firewall. See Help and Support and search
for "firewall". Alternatively, click Start, Run and enter SERVICES.MSC
Locate the Messenger service and set it to Disabled. Note: The Messenger
service (not to be confused with Windows Messenger) can be accessed because
you don't have the firewall turned on.
