It depends. If there is not an account on the remote
machine name, yes. If this is on a domain, they should be
able to map it.
If it is in a workgroup just make sure that there is an
account on the other machine and it has rights and the
passwords are the same on both systems. I.E. JoeUser
needs to be on both systems, the resource and the client.
JoeUser needs to have the same password. Otherwise, it
will give you an access denied because of a lack of
authentication.
