First off thank you for your time on this Roger it is
much appreciated.
After the profile i want is copied to the default user
profile, the change it makes is that only local users
that log on see the amended profile, in the profile i
want the users to use i had set up; internet settings,
intranet shortcut, e-mail preferences, desktop background
etc. only local users get a mirror of this profile,
domain users get the standard win xp background with 3
out of 10 shorcuts i had set up.. also none of the
internet settings has been saved, anti virus prefs, e-
mail prefs are all unsaved. no specific profile has been
set up in user manager for any of the users, is it
possible in xp for users to use profiles locally rather
than having to pull them off the server?
Reguards,
Adrian Atherall
