To all,
I changed a Windows XP machine from a domain to a
workgroup. I was in standalone mode with no PDC available.
XP asked for a userid/password to do this change with
admin access. All OK as i typed in the password ( I
assumed that because of no PDC that it had to be a local
password).
It asked to reboot..and... Unable to login since. I have
no access to any user or admin userid/passwords.
How do I recover - How do I create a password reset disk
for a machine I cannot get access to? Can I use the
original CD of XP on a different machine to create the
password recovery disk.
Help, Thanks in Advance - Rob
