Perhaps a dumb question but I do need your assistance.
I downloaded a spyware program that searches and finds
adware on a computer.
A couple of the results came up showing they are in my
RegistryK. One is named alexa and is under LOCAL
Software Internet extensions. The other is Cydoor which
shows up in LOCAL Software etc. in my Registry. The
Cydoor in my registry says adwrcnt.
I realize it is not smart to mess with the Registry on my
computer but I am wondering are either of these installed
with my original Registry or are they adware that I can
remove without altering or harming my system.
I have downloaded Kazaa and it is in my system now.
I am running XP Home
Thank you in advance,
Ruthann
