Accessing Files

I had to do a system recovery on my hp pavilion 7965.
Everything worked out okay except there are some files I
cannot access. I can't even delete them. I tried dos.
Tried sharing - access denied. Does anyone have any idea
how to remove these files?

They are a couple of empty folders. Some MS Word files
and some printmaster file. Please advise
