I believe that Mike has answered you sufficiently.
I do notice that we were directing you to change
the machine out of Simplified sharing mode, but that
your posts indicate you were looking at a per folder

You can always at a cmd prompt issue
cacls E:\ /t /e /d baduser
to deny all access to E:\ for account baduser
