I have recently started using Windows XP on a Toshiba
Satellite. Latest XP updates as at 6/2/03 have been
loaded.

Sometimes when I log on I get the message

"Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged
you on with the default profile for the system.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a
file into the registry, but the specified file is not in
a registry file format."

On most ocassions I don't get the message.

Can you tell me why this is happening and how do I fix it.

Regards,

Ray.
