"Could not start the Remote Services Connection
Manager service on Local Computer. Error 5: Access is
denied".

In the system event viewer I can seen evidence
of repeated failures to start the same service, all
detailing "access is denied". User shows as "N/A".

Process is a system process and get message even logged
on as administrator.

Things were OK till upgraded Win XP Home -> XP Pro

Can anybody shed light as to what course of action is
required to solve this problem?
