Ahhh...but Windows XP allows you to just remove the
passwords. Tricky, huh? ;-)
Anyway...
Start > Control Panel > User Accounts
Choose the user account that you are referring to, and
then choose the option to "Remove The Password"
This will stop the login screen from showing up (assuming
no other active accounts exist. If that's the case,
you'll be asked to choose which account to log into).
