I need help. I'm trying to use windows update or any site
that uses ActiveX. I get the following error: Your
current security settings prohibit running ActiveX
Controls on this page. As a result, the page may not
display correctly.
I have tried a number of things to fix this problem all
of which did not work. I went to the security tab in the
internet options and set my security to the lowest
setting. I tried restoring the default setting. I tried
going into custom setting and manually enabling all the
options. I tried going into the advanced tab and
restoring the default settings. I tried repair and
restore IE6 from the add/remove program in the control
panel. I requested help from microsoft but I got no
reply. Someone please help me, I don't know what else to
do.
