MS updates won't install

I have run the MS update for the server 2000 PDC and I am not able to
install about half of the updates. I have tried the install several times
and it continues to give me an error about not being able to install the 9
other upgrades. There were 12 originally and I removed the one that was
required to install seperately.
Should I do something different?
