we have work folders stored on an NT4 server for our windows XP professional
clients, so the idea of offline folders sounded great for times we have to
take the server down.however when setting it up it either hangs or takes
over 3 hours to even beging to set up a folder with 30 files (1,5Mb in
total). I have tried it on various PCs and all with the same result - an
endless hourglass!!!

any ideas???
