Does anyone know why I wouldn't have a UPS tab on the power options
control panel?

I'm on a laptop and only see a battery page -- is it assumed one would not
use an external UPS if one is using a laptop even in a docking station even with
an external monitor, keyboard and mouse? Some docking stations even have
external SCSI hard disks built in to them. Should I be seeing my UPS
tab?

Does anyone else have a laptop and see the UPS tab on their power config
panel? How about non-laptops that don't have a UPS hooked up? Do you see
a UPS tab?

Thanks,
-linda
