Thank you for help. I tried everything you mentioned and nothing worked. I
logged in as every user I have, even created a new one. Nothing could touch
this key.
I recieved an e-mail from the Symantec Online Support team which was also no
help. They said to download RNAV2003 and run it. It appears that it could
not do anything with the registry key either. BTW, in my e-mail to
Symantec, I told them that I had already tried RNAV2003!
In order to get rid of the key so that I could install AntiVirus 2003
(program that initially created this rogue key), I resorted to deleting the
hard disk partition and reinstalling XP. Reinstalled NAV2003 without a
problem this time. I am glad this was on a new machine with nothing lost
but lots of time.
Again, I appreciate your help.
